Managing Your GeoTrack Smart Tag with Google’s Find Hub App

This article explains how to manage your GeoTrack Smart Tag when paired with Google’s Find Hub app.

GeoTrack can be disabled at any time to stop sharing its location. Once disabled, it will no longer report to Google’s Find Hub Network, and the owner will no longer receive updates about its location.

If you receive a notification on your Android device that a GeoTrack Smart Tag has been detected nearby and you do not recognize it, you can make the tag ring using the system notification. After locating the item, follow the steps below to disable it. Once disabled, the owner will no longer receive updates on its location, and the tag will no longer trigger unknown tracker alerts.

How to Disable GeoTrack Smart Tag

1. Locate the button on the back of the GeoTrack.

2. Press the button three times, then press and hold it for three seconds.

3. You will hear four beeps, confirming the device has been disabled.

How to Re-enable GeoTrack Smart Tag

1. Locate the button on the back of the GeoTrack.

2. Press the button once.

3. You will hear two beeps, confirming the device has been re-enabled.

This process ensures you remain in control of your device’s activity and notifications, whether you need to stop or restart its location sharing.
