GPS route missing / signal not working properlyUpdated 2 months ago

Your watch uses one of two GPS configurations depending on the model: Connected GPS (uses your phone’s GPS) for most models, or Built-in GPS (e.g., model C80). Follow the steps for your model.

For models that use the phone’s GPS (Connected GPS):

1. Enable phone GPS & grant permissions: Turn on your phone’s location/GPS and ensure the ArgomTech Select App has location access and background activity permissions.

2. Select an outdoor sport: On the watch, open “Sports” and choose an outdoor activity (e.g., Outdoor Running). GPS routes are not available for indoor sports.

3. Stay connected to the app: Ensure the watch remains connected to the ArgomTech Select App before and during the session, or GPS data will not be recorded.

4. Wear the watch properly: Wear it snugly so the green sensor light isn’t visible. This helps keep health metrics accurate (HR, SpO₂, BP).

5. Keep the app open during the activity: Do not close the app until the outdoor sport is completed.

For models with built-in GPS (e.g., C80):

1. Ensure connection to the app: Confirm that your watch is connected to the ArgomTech Select App.

2. Use “Positioning Assist” for GPS sync: In the app, go to the Device tab > Positioning Assist to synchronize and calibrate GPS.

3. Move outdoors: Go to an open area with a clear view of the sky. Tall buildings, dense trees, or heavy clouds can block or delay GPS signals.

4. Select an outdoor sport: On the watch, choose an outdoor sport such as Outdoor Running to enable GPS tracking.

5. Wait for confirmation: Start your activity only after you see “GPS Synced Successfully.”

If GPS routes are still missing or the signal does not stabilize after following these steps, please contact Customer Service for further assistance.
